My research examines how stereotypes influence people's behaviors and their sense of belonging. I am interested in the relationship between stereotypes of a group and an individual’s desire to belong to that group. I am also interested in the strategies people use to respond to threats to their social identities.

Primary Interests:

  • Culture and Ethnicity
  • Gender Psychology
